Tokyo DisneySea

Tokyo DisneySea is a fantastic theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort that is unique in Japan. Inspired by the myths and legends of the sea, Tokyo DisneySea consists of seven themed ports: Mediterranean Port, Mysterious Island, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery and American Waterfront.

Although suitable for all ages, Tokyo DisneySea is specially designed to appeal to a more mature audience. The park responds to Japanese visitors’ keen interest in gastronomy by offering a wide choice of table-service restaurants and alcoholic beverages not available in the adjacent park.

Theme areas

Mediterranean port

The Mediterranean harbor at the entrance to the park is decorated in the style of an Italian port city. Its waterfront features Venetian-style canals and gondolas, and its buildings are the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta. The harbor hosts daily events with boats and fountains.

Mysterious Island

Located inside the volcano at the heart of the park, Mysterious Island is a page from the science-fiction writings of Jules Verne. Here, you can explore the depths of the ocean in one of Captain Nemo’s submarines or travel to the center of the earth in one of the scientific vehicles.

Mermaid Lagoon

Mermaid Lagoon allows local residents to enter the underwater world of Ariel. This special area of the park features rides in its exhibits and is ideal for children.
Arabian Coast

The Arabian Coast recreates the world of Aladdin and the 1001 Arabian Nights. Enjoy a magical show hosted by the Genie, or travel with Sinbad as he sets off on a voyage of discovery.

Lost River Delta

Lost River Delta was built among the ruins of an ancient pyramid temple in the jungles of Central America. The Indiana Jones ride explores the temple ruins, while the Raging Spirits roller coaster passes by. The port also serves as a stop for the Tokyo DisneySea Transit steam locomotives, which run between the various sections of the park.

Port Discovery

Port Discovery is the marina of the future, where visitors can discover the StormRider, a kind of virtual roller coaster, or try out some of the experimental self-piloting boats that move among the rocks, fountains and Jacuzzis of Aquatopia.

The American Waterfront

The American Waterfront is inspired by the 20th-century towns around New York, New England and Cape Cod. The area features an elevated train, American-style restaurants and stores, a theater and the steamboat S.S. Columbia, which houses a restaurant and lounge. The Tower of Terror rotunda is also located here.
